We invite you to join us at Amphora Winery for a barrel tasting/futures purchasing experience, allowing you to taste right out of the barrel and secure wine “futures” at great (15-35%) discounts.

If you don’t know what wine futures are, it is when you purchase the wine while it is still in barrel. When the wine has been bottled in a year or two, it will be shipped to you or held for pickup. The benefit is you are guaranteed to get some of these limited quantity wines, at discounts higher than what will be offered once the wine is released. Also, if the price goes up prior to release, you have locked in today’s price.

This is the same weekend as the Wine Road barrel tasting event, and we will be doing both the Wine Road event and our own! We will have a few barrels for the Wine Road event guests to taste from. If you are attending the Wine Road event and want to taste a few more barrels in a “behind the scenes” tasting with owner & winemaker Rick Hutchinson, we are offering an extended tasting this weekend, but you need to make a reservation as space is limited.  Wine “futures” of all the wines tasted will be available for purchase, at great discounts. Current releases of the wines will also be available for purchase.

If you are not participating in the Wine Road event and would still like to do a barrel tasting at Amphora this weekend, just make a reservation for your preferred tasting time and date.

While there is no charge for this tasting, tickets must be reserved in advance, and are only valid for the specific date/time on your ticket. Must be 21 or over to attend!

Barrel tasting with the winemaker times are 11am, 1pm and 3pm, both Saturday and Sunday.
